I am currently able to accept Aetna, United Healthcare, and Optum insurance. Prior to your first appointment, your insurance will be verified. I will also provide documentation to submit Out-of-Network claims as individual plans allow.

An out-of-network provider is a provider who is not currently contracted with your insurance company. Some insurance plans allow for some coverage of out-of-network fees. You’ll need to check your personal policy to see what your plan includes.

I offer both in-person and virtual options for sessions. I encourage patients to meet in-person for the evaluation, and I understand sometimes this isn’t possible.

This will be a brief phone conversation to talk about what you are hoping to work on and to see if we are a good fit for each other. If so, we can also use this time to schedule an intake evaluation.

Psychodynamic psychotherapy covers a wide range of psychoanalytically based treatments and concepts intended to explore aspects of oneself that are not fully known, particularly as they relate to one’s patterns of interacting with others. Sessions are typically once to twice weekly and involve development of a long term connection between therapist and patient.
